Sapphire Gymnastics Club is committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking at our club.

We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity at all of our facilities and taking reasonable steps to ensure slavery and human trafficking are not taking place at our club.

Due Diligence and Risk Management

As part of our commitment to preventing slavery and human trafficking, Sapphire Gymnastics Club takes reasonable steps to identify and mitigate potential risks within the club.

Sapphire Gymnastics Club has systems in place to encourage the reporting of concerns and the protection of whistleblowers.

Training

The management team are responsible for compliance with this policy within their respective departments and in their supplier relationships, and have been trained accordingly.

Sapphire Gymnastics Club uses the following measures to assess how effectively we are working to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any part of our club:

• We maintain a level of communication and personal contact with coaches and staff to ensure their understanding of, and compliance with, our expectations.
• We regularly review our policies, codes of conduct and working practices to demonstrate our continued commitment.

Reporting Suspicions of Slavery

Any suspicions or concerns relating to slavery or human trafficking should be reported.

You can report concerns to:

• Sapphire Gymnastics Club’s Child Protection Officer.
• Scottish Gymnastics.
• British Gymnastics.
• The police.
